Van Halen Postpones Reunion Tour
Legendary hard-rock band Van Halen has postponed 31 upcoming dates on their much-anticipated reunion tour. The tour was promoting their first album with original singer David Lee Roth in almost 30 years. All shows up to their June 26th date in New Orleans will go on as scheduled. No reason was given for the postponements, but I hear Sammy Hagar is sitting by the phone.

Iran Exporting Weapons To Syria
A new report from the UN points the finger at Iran for exporting weapons to the Syrian government, a clear violation of a ban on weapon sales. Speaking on condition of anonymity, a diplomat with knowledge of the as-yet-unreleased report told reporters that three shipments of Iranian weapons – two of which bound for Syria – had been intercepted within the last year.
Ratko Mladic Trial On Hold
The long-awaited trial of alleged war criminal Ratko Mladic has come to a screeching halt after just two days. The presiding judge has delayed the case because of quote “significant disclosure errors” by prosecutors, who failed to provide all of their evidence to Mladic’s defense team. Mladic’s attorneys have requested a six-month delay, but the judge aims to have a new starting date as soon as possible.

The April fundraising tally is out, and the Obama re-election campaign along with Democratic party managed to raise a hefty 43.6 million dollars. This makes the president’s team well on its way to surpass the $750 million raised in 2008.
